LAURA SCHWAMB
LAURA SCHWAMB
LAURA SCHWAMB is a self-taught visual artist working in oil painting, drawing, oil/wax crayon, neon, and video. Her portraits hover in a charged stillness — alive with color, memory, and presence. Each figure reflects an exploration of the psychology of resilience, where the traces of endurance meet the quiet grace of becoming. Schwamb’s work navigates a delicate balance between tenderness and confrontation, capturing the subtle, haunting energy that lies beneath the surface of being seen. Each work invites a quiet recognition of what endures within us — something human, and alive.
